Resource & Technical Disclosure

Mineral resource information for Canterra’s Newfoundland projects, organized by deposit and linked to supporting technical reports.

About these estimatesMineral resources are not mineral reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. Current resources and historical estimates are presented separately. Refer to the linked reports for the full technical basis and assumptions.
01 · Current mineral resource

Lundberg, Buchans

The Buchans project page reports the following Lundberg mineral resource figures. Indicated and Inferred resources are shown separately. The linked 2024 NI 43-101 technical report provides the detailed estimate basis, including its effective date, cut-off and material assumptions.

Category Tonnes Zinc Lead Copper Silver Gold
Indicated 16.79 Mt 1.53% 0.64% 0.42% 5.7 g/t 0.07 g/t
Inferred 0.38 Mt 2.03% 1.01% 0.36% 22.4 g/t 0.31 g/t

Inferred resources have greater geological uncertainty and are not added to the Indicated category. Figures may be rounded.

02 · Historical estimates

Other deposits in the portfolio

The following estimates are identified as historical on the project pages. They have different estimate dates, technical sources and cut-offs and should be read separately from the current Lundberg resource.

Historical-estimate caution: A Qualified Person has not done sufficient work to classify these historical estimates as current mineral resources or mineral reserves, and Canterra is not treating them as current mineral resources or mineral reserves. Consult each project page and its source report for the original estimate and its limitations.

Lemarchant

Historical 2018 estimate reported using a 4.0% zinc-equivalent cut-off. The project page also links to a 2023 technical report.

Lemarchant project and reports

Boomerang & Domino

Historical estimates described in the 2007 Tulks South technical report. The project page reports a 1% zinc cut-off.

Boomerang & Domino project

Long Lake & Tulks Hill

Historical estimates from different technical sources: Long Lake (2012; 7.0% ZnEq) and Tulks Hill (1.1% CuEq).

Long Lake & Tulks project

Daniel’s Pond & Bobby’s Pond

Historical estimates sourced to 2008 technical reports. The source materials cite a 2% zinc cut-off for Daniel’s Pond and a 1.0% copper-equivalent cut-off for Bobby’s Pond.

03 · Interpretation

How to read these figures

  • Resource categories. Measured, Indicated and Inferred resources have different levels of geological confidence. Inferred quantities are reported separately.
  • Current and historical information. Historical estimates are not included in the current Lundberg resource and should not be combined into a current portfolio resource total.
  • Metal equivalents. ZnEq and CuEq figures depend on metal prices, recoveries, payability and calculation methods stated in the relevant source.
  • Rounding. Reported figures may be rounded and may not sum precisely.
