Wilding sits directly on strike from Equinox Gold's Valentine Mine, the newest gold mine in Atlantic Canada, on the same gold-bearing trend.

High-grade gold already found
Gold has turned up at surface and in shallow drilling. Highlights include a 535 g/t Au surface sample in 2025 and 10.89 g/t Au over 31.5 m in drilling at the Elm zone.

District-scale potential
The project covers 417 km² and about 55 km of the trend. Many target areas have had little or no modern drilling, leaving room for new discoveries.

GEOLOGY & MINERALIZATION
High-grade district
The Valentine trend hosts one of Atlantic Canada's most important gold systems. Wilding covers about 55 km of that trend, and much of it has had little modern exploration.

Exceptional grades
Surface samples have run as high as 535 g/t Au. Drilling has returned 10.89 g/t Au over 31.5 m at Elm, including 41.00 g/t Au over 5.4 m.

Two styles of mineralization
High-grade quartz-tourmaline-sulphide veins at zones like Elm, Alder and Dogberry, plus broader disseminated gold at Red Ochre and Birch.

Modern Exploration
Canterra is reprocessing historical data and running new till sampling and geophysics to define targets across the corridor.

WILDING GOLD PROGRAM
Current Program & Drilling
Canterra is running a fully funded, discovery-focused program across its Newfoundland projects in 2026. The work focuses on growing the high-grade Elm gold zone and testing new targets along the 55 km trend.
01
Growing the Elm zone
2025 drilling returned 10.89 g/t Au over 31.5 m at Elm and helped define a gold zone of roughly 300 m along strike by 100 m down dip. Follow-up drilling will test how far it extends.

High-grade targets
Several zones have returned high-grade gold, including Alder, Red Ochre, Dogberry and Raven. New surface samples up to 535 g/t Au point to more, including ground at Noel Paul about 14 km from the core area.
03
Till sampling and geophysics
Canterra completed 181 basal till drill holes and started a high-resolution airborne magnetic survey on 25 m line spacing. Results will guide diamond drilling in the second half of 2026.
