The Case for Boomerang

Deposits already defined

Boomerang and Domino deposits carry historical resource estimates with strong zinc grades plus meaningful silver and gold, over 110 g/t silver in the Boomerang indicated category.

Ready-made infrastructure

Few exploration projects start with this much in place. High-voltage power lines run adjacent to the project, a hydroelectric station sits 20 km away, and a 45-person field camp stands 2.5 km from the deposits.

New targets identified

Canterra identified multiple new targets outside the historical resource in 2025 and staked the Hill Top target, where massive sulphide is exposed at surface. Unexplored ground remains along the deposit trend itself.

GEOLOGY & MINERALIZATION

High-grade district

The project sits in the Tulks Hill volcanic belt, part of the Buchans District that includes the historic Buchans camp and the former Duck Pond mine. The prospective volcanic rocks that host the deposits extend for roughly 60 km, and much of that ground carries the alteration associated with massive sulphide formation.

Exceptional grades

Historic drilling at Boomerang returned 26.11 metres grading 8.0% zinc, 3.0% lead, 116 g/t silver and 2.5 g/t gold. At Domino, one hole cut 3.53 metres at 23.8% zinc, 8.7% lead and 267 g/t silver.

Three zones on one trend

Boomerang, Domino and the Hurricane prospect line up along the same mineralized horizon. Domino sits deeper to the northeast of Boomerang, and Hurricane lies another 500 to 600 metres along strike, showing the system repeats.

Modern Exploration

In 2025 Canterra reviewed rock chemistry, soil geochemistry, gravity and electromagnetic data across the project. The review flagged alteration signatures that match the known deposits in areas that have never been drilled.

BOOMERANG EXPANSION

Current Program & Drilling

Canterra's work at Boomerang is focused on growth beyond the historical resource. In 2025 the company announced multiple new exploration targets generated from geochemical and geophysical review, and expanded the project by staking the Hill Top target 7 km northeast of the deposits.

Hill Top

Massive sulphide is exposed at surface at Hill Top, supported by a 700-metre gravity anomaly and thirteen nearby soil samples running above 1,000 ppm copper. Historical grab samples returned up to 1.5% copper, 4.68% zinc and 16.5 g/t silver.

Telephone Hill

Two kilometres southwest of the deposits, recent rock sampling shows the chemical fingerprints geologists look for near massive sulphide systems. The signatures line up with electromagnetic, gravity and zinc-in-soil anomalies along the Boomerang trend.

Growing the known deposits

About 550 metres of unexplored strike remains northeast of Hurricane before the next major fault. Boomerang is open down-dip, Domino may extend southwest, and 2017 drilling already pushed Boomerang mineralization 50 metres up-dip.
