Investor questions

Understand the projects. Follow the evidence.

Answers about Buchans and Lundberg, the new resource, historical estimates and the next exploration milestones. Read these summaries alongside the linked company disclosures.

What does Canterra Minerals do?

Canterra Minerals is a mineral exploration company advancing copper-zinc projects in central Newfoundland and the Wilding gold project. Its work focuses on exploration and technical evaluation. Historical mining in the Buchans district does not mean Canterra operates a producing mine.

Explore the projects
What is the difference between Buchans and Lundberg?

Buchans is Canterra’s project in central Newfoundland. Lundberg is the deposit within that project covered by the mineral resource estimate announced on October 6, 2026. The wider Buchans exploration story includes Two Level, deposit extensions and the Mine Trend; satellite deposits are separate opportunities.

Buchans project overview
What is the new Lundberg mineral resource?

The estimate, effective September 2, 2026, comprises 26.08 million tonnes Indicated at 0.87% copper equivalent (CuEq) and, separately, 0.87 million tonnes Inferred at 1.54% CuEq. It is reported within an optimized pit shell at a US$20.40/t net smelter return cutoff. Mineral resources are not mineral reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. Read the complete grades, contained metals, assumptions and qualifications in the resource disclosure.

Full resource tables and technical basis
What does the 55% increase mean?

It is the increase in Indicated tonnes from 16.79 million tonnes in the 2019 estimate to 26.08 million tonnes in 2026. It is not a 55% increase in copper grade or contained copper. The release reports a 34% increase in Indicated contained copper. The comparison reflects new drilling and updated economic assumptions, including metal prices and the pit shell; it does not isolate growth from drilling alone. The 2019 estimate is superseded.

Read the October 6 comparison
Are the satellite estimates part of the Lundberg resource?

No. Estimates at Lemarchant, Boomerang/Domino, Long Lake, Tulks Hill, Daniels Pond and Bobby’s Pond are historical and are separate from the 2026 Lundberg estimate. A qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimates as current mineral resources or mineral reserves, and Canterra is not treating them as current. They should not be added to Lundberg to create a current portfolio resource total.

Historical estimates and source reports
What are the exploration priorities at Buchans?

The October 6 release identifies follow-up work at Two Level, extensions of Lundberg and the 2.5 km Mine Trend. Two Level mineralization contributes to the Inferred resource; further drilling will test expansion and upgrading opportunities. Target areas outside the reported resource remain exploration opportunities, with no certainty that drilling will define additional resources.

Read the exploration priorities
What next steps should investors follow?

Follow assay results from district drilling, further targeting at Buchans, gravity survey interpretation and the scope of metallurgical testing. The October 6 release states that results from 6,000 metres of district drilling are pending, with reporting expected through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027, and gravity results expected in Q4 2026. Plans and timing depend on results, technical work and other uncertainties.

Latest disclosed work and timing
Does the resource establish a mine or shared-processing plan?

No. Mineral resources are not mineral reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. The optimized pit shell is a resource reporting constraint, not a proposed mine plan, and was not constrained by surface infrastructure. A potential shared-processing or district development concept requires further technical and economic evaluation.

Resource limitations and portfolio context
Where is the supporting 2026 technical report?

The October 6 release states that Canterra will file the supporting technical report within 45 days of the release. Until it is filed and linked here, use the release’s complete tables and notes for the 2026 estimate. The June 2024 Lundberg report is prior technical background and predates the new estimate; it is not the supporting report for the 2026 resource.

Current disclosure and report status
How should I interpret drill intervals and CuEq grades?

A drill interval measures length along the core and may differ from the true width of mineralization. Copper-equivalent and zinc-equivalent grades depend on stated metal prices, recoveries, payabilities and formulas, which can differ between releases. Read the individual metal grades and width qualifications in the original disclosure before comparing results.

Results and calculation assumptions
How does Wilding fit into the portfolio?

Wilding is Canterra’s separate gold exploration project in Newfoundland. Its geology, drilling and technical status should be considered on their own. The updated Lundberg copper-zinc resource does not change Wilding’s technical status or add a gold resource at Wilding.

Wilding gold project
Where can I review share information and funding needs?

Use the dated capital table above and read the latest financial statements and management’s discussion and analysis together, including liquidity, exploration spending, commitments and subsequent events. Securities outstanding and cash balances relate to specific dates and may change. The website’s fully diluted figure is a calculated figure based on the stated exercise and share-settlement assumptions.

Financial reports and MD&A
Is the Atrium Research report company-sponsored?

Atrium’s October 6, 2026 update and April 16, 2026 initiation report disclose cash compensation from Canterra for research coverage under a 12-month agreement, with Atrium retaining editorial control. The analyst’s views are its own. Read the report’s full disclosures and date before relying on its conclusions.
