Canterra Presenter Support

Requirements

Canterra Presenter runs on iPad with iPadOS 16.4 or later and uses landscape orientation. Install the same app version on every iPad in a presentation. Nearby sessions do not need internet access or a joined Wi-Fi router. Keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled and allow Local Network access.

Start a presentation

Download the PDF to Files first. Open Canterra Presenter, choose Host, select your PDF and keep the app open. On each other iPad choose Viewer, select the nearby presentation, and approve the viewer on the host. If the host enables Require six-digit join code, enter the code shown on the host.

If an iPad cannot connect

Check Local Network permission in Settings, confirm Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are on, place the iPads nearby, and confirm all devices use the same app version. Keep the host app in the foreground. Return to the app after a sleep or Home interruption and allow the session to reconnect. End Session deliberately closes the session; joining a new presentation may require a new code and approval.

Annotations and export

Use the drawing and laser tools on the host. Use the export command to save an annotated PDF to a location you select. Reopen the saved file to confirm the annotations. Content in an active session is not a substitute for saving an exported document. Force-quitting the app can discard unsaved presentation state.

External display

Connect an iPad using a compatible display adapter or the screen-mirroring method supported by your meeting room. Check the exact display, cable and adapter before a meeting. Verify slide changes and annotations across all iPads before presenting.
